For those of you who are new to The Bone, let's give you an idea of who we are. Well, uh... we are a rock band, uh, from Canada, eh? That says it all. Oh, and the type of music that we play is all over the map. Let's begin with classic rock. We all come from classic rock backgrounds. Growing up and enjoying the 70's rock explosion of Supertramp, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, etc. Naturally, you've got to throw in some Beatles and our favorite, the Eagles. From there we sprinkle on some southern rock bands, some Boz Scaggs, America, and April Wine, and you've got a pretty good idea of who we are.
Presentation
Elsie's Bone hails from Winnipeg and Southeast Manitoba, Canada. They began jamming together since February, 2009. Three of the members have been childhood friends and the bass player and drummer are brothers. Most of the group has been playing together in various bands for the last ten years or so. This new group feels a true synergy that is rarely found in a great majority of bands. There are no divas and ego-trippers here, which is why The Bone is better explained as a band of brothers. Their love of music and a sincere desire to give the best show possible makes Elsie's Bone an excellent show band.
The group has also begun writing their own material. Although they do not plan to put out an album in the near future, the songs are always included in their live sets.
